What is itching ?
Itch was defined by Samuel Hafenreffer as "an unpleasant sensation that elicits the desire or reflex to scratch".The important thing is "reflex".
The reflex scratches unconsciously.
Unconsciousness difficult to bear. And very very much!!
I know. I will be not scratched.
I noticed it after scratching.

There are 4 causes of itching
1. Originates from the skin
Itching caused by skin , for example atopic eczema, dry skin, psoriasis, hives or other inframmatory skin diseases.
2. Neuropathic itch, cause by nerve damage
For example such as itch associated with post-herpes zoster neuropathy.
3. Neurogenic itch, caused by dysfunction of the nervous system in the absence of peripheral neuropathy
4. Psychological or psychiatric itching
